Dr. Preetha Bhadra
Biotechnology, Food Science & Applied Research
Founder · 2022–Present
She was already running a food-testing laboratory when the question of what happens to a crop after it leaves the field became impossible to ignore. JCKTPIC grew partly out of that question — a place where processing, packaging and the science behind them could sit next to the people growing the raw material. Associate Professor and Head of Biotechnology at Centurion University, and Managing Director of the NABL-accredited Gram Tarang Foods Testing Laboratories. She holds 133 publications, 17 patents and seven authored books. Her work anchors the science, food-technology and quality side of everything JCKTPIC produces.
Dr. Atanu Deb
Agricultural Extension, Participatory Research & Indigenous Knowledge
Co-Founder · 2022–Present
He teaches agricultural extension, but he draws, prints and films what he finds — which is why JCKTPIC has a design studio, a film unit and an ISBN imprint rather than only a project office. The idea was that a community's knowledge should come back to it as a book, a film or a wall painting, not only as a report. Associate Professor at the M. S. Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Centurion University, and a visual artist, illustrator and documentary film-maker. He leads the design, publication and film verticals and holds direction across the technology park's working units.

Annepu Divesh Babu
Operations, Programme Delivery & Campus Logistics
Programme Manager
Runs day-to-day operations across all seven units — scheduling, procurement, campus logistics and client delivery.
Coordinates between the studios, the cafés and the field teams, and is the point of contact for institutional work, event supply and training logistics across both the Odisha and West Bengal operations.

Communication, Brand & Outreach
Communication Consultant
Leads communication and brand voice across print, film and digital.
Handles outreach, campaign and publication communication, and keeps a consistent voice across the design studio's client work, the film unit's releases and the imprint's titles.
Dr. Purnabha Dasgupta
Sustainability, Just Transition & Action Research
Research Consultant
Advises on just transition, agroecology and community-led action research.
Associate Professor of Sustainability & General Management at the School of Business, Woxsen University; Executive Director of Srijati Foundation; and Editor-in-Chief of the journal of People, Ecology and Climate. Formerly a Fellow at the Just Transition Research Centre, IIT Kanpur, and Programme Director and Head of Action Research at PRASARI.
Dr. Vinita Arora
Environmental Management & Ecological Restoration
Research Consultant
Advises on ecological restoration, environmental assessment and training.
Retired as General Manager and Head of the Environment Department at CMPDI (Coal India Limited), Regional Institute VII, Bhubaneswar. PhD in Environmental Science from BIT Mesra, and a NABET-accredited EIA coordinator.

How the team is organised
JCKTPIC LLP at the top, splitting into Founders and Direction on the left and Consultants and Advisory on the right, both feeding into Programme Management, which fans out into seven working units: Graphic Design, Video, Publication, Coffee and Café, Tourism, Research and Technology, and Art, Craft and Skill.
We work with freelancers, resource persons and interns across all seven units.
