Coffee & Café
From the Araku hills to the cup — sourcing, roasting, serving.
Our coffee begins in the Araku valley, where tribal growers have been raising shade-grown arabica under the forest canopy for generations. We buy organic Araku beans directly, roast them ourselves, and serve them in our own cafés — so the money stays close to the people who grew the crop. The line we work to is simple: A Brew of Sustainability — Connecting the Tribes of Araku.
It is also a teaching operation. Our coffee-processing skill course has trained 35 students in green-bean handling, roast profiling and brewing, and several now work behind our own counters.

Café Terrain Roastery
Our roastery takes in green Araku beans and roasts to order in small batches. Roast profiles are cut for filter and espresso separately, then rested, ground and packed on site. The roastery supplies both our cafés and our retail customers.

Our café in the Dooars, next to the Kali Bari, serving our own roast alongside a full kitchen — coffee and teas, starters, Chinese, rice and noodles, pasta, continental sizzlers, Bengali combinations including Basanti Polau, and desserts.
